FoodNeverComes (“we”, “us”, “the site”) is a free novelty “dopamine site” — a fake food-delivery simulator. No real food is ordered, no real payment is ever taken, and no card details are collected or stored. This policy explains what little data is involved when you visit foodnevercomes.com, and the cookies and third-party services we use.
Information you provide. The site works without any sign-up. If you choose to join the “Daily Craving” email list or send us a message via our contact form, we receive the email address and message you submit (handled by our host, Netlify). That’s the only personal data you might give us, and only if you opt in.
Stored on your device. Features like your streak, badges, collected cuisines, chosen region/currency and demo address/card placeholders are stored in your browser’s local storage. This data stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and you can clear it anytime by clearing your browser data.
Automatically collected. Like most sites, our analytics and ad partners may receive standard technical data (e.g. approximate location/country, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring page) via cookies and similar technologies.
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We (and our partners) use them to remember your preferences, measure traffic, and serve ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may then work less smoothly.
We use Google AdSense to display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and/or other sites on the internet.
You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.eu.
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the site is used (e.g. which pages and dishes are popular) so we can improve it. It collects aggregated, largely anonymous usage data via cookies. Learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy.
Some links (for example, meal-kit offers such as Marley Spoon, served through the Awin affiliate network) are affiliate links. If you click them and make a purchase on the partner’s site, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Those partners have their own privacy policies and may set their own cookies. We also link to Ko-fi for optional tips and to Instagram.
FoodNeverComes is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
We may update this policy from time to time; we’ll change the “last updated” date above when we do.
